CTPL is bound to follow the below Health, Safety and Environement Policy.
- To maintain safe and healthy work places and safe systems and methods of work.
- To protect staff and others, including the public, employees of contractors and sub-contractors, from any foreseeable work hazards on CTPL’s premises.
- To protect CTPL Employee by strictly asking them to wear minimum safety requirements like Helmet, Boiler Suit, Hand Gloves, Safety Shoes and mask.
- To equip the staff with the information, instructions, training and supervision needed for safe working & healthy environment.
- To provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for staff with adequate facilities and arrangements for their welfare.
- To develop safety awareness amongst the staff through training and information.
- To make staff aware of their individual responsibility to take all reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts of omissions at work place, and to cooperate with management and other staff in matters of health and safety.
- To have required safety department adequately engaged for this purpose.
- Environmental impact assessment must be prepared as required by the “Department of Environment” at the earliest possible time.
- Environmental norms prescribed by the Central and state government, in the matter of the noise, water and air pollution including forest.
- Periodical inspection to ensure harmful chemicals does not exceed the limit prescribed the Govt. of India.
- Ensuring that no activity harms the local people and authority residing or living nearby areas.
- Promoting a healthy, safe, productive, and aesthetically satisfying environment is the responsibility and aim of CTPL.
